Projects

Haptic Feedback Sleeve for Robotic-Assisted Surgery

Developed a textile-based soft robotic sleeve providing haptic feedback for robotic-assisted surgical applications

  • Implemented electro-pneumatic actuation and control to deliver tactile feedback for safe human-robot interaction

Soft Pneumatic Gripper for Robotic Manipulation

Designed and integrated a two-finger soft pneumatic gripper and mount for attachment to an existing robotic arm

  • Developed CAD assemblies and fabricated custom molds for silicone casting, iterating on gripper geometry to improve manufacturability and performance
  • Investigated and resolved inflation instability and torsional buckling through design modifications, material selection, and experimental testing

Autonomous Line-Following Robot

Developed an autonomous line-following robot using Python, ROS, and OpenCV on a Libre Computer; programmed onboard control of dual motors and camera

  • Achieved over 95% path detection accuracy in varied lighting using machine learning–based centroid tracking and real-time image filtering
