Round Zero is an AI interview practice platform for job seekers. You get realistic mock interviews, evidence-backed scoring, honest resume tailoring, and research on the company you are about to face, so the first time you answer a hard question is not in the room that counts.
Why it exists
Hiring got asymmetric. Employers screen with software, rank with software, and now interview with software, while candidates still prepare by re-reading a job description and hoping. Practice, the one thing that reliably works, has stayed expensive: a coach costs money, and a friend can only run so many mock interviews before it gets awkward.
Round Zero makes reps cheap. Practice a question badly, see exactly why it landed badly, and try again tonight instead of learning it from a rejection email six weeks later.
We build for both sides of the table deliberately. The same scoring engine that tells you how your answer read is what lets a small employer run a fair structured first round, and knowing what the other side sees is precisely what makes the practice useful.
What we believe
Practice before, never cheat during
Round Zero is built to make you better before you sit down with a real interviewer, not to feed you answers while one is talking. We do not build live-interview overlays or covert answer feeds. The work is yours; we just make the reps cheap.
Feedback tied to evidence
Scores point back at what you actually said. Every rating is traceable to a moment in your transcript or a line in your resume, so you can argue with it, which is the only way feedback is worth anything.
Honest resume help
Tailoring reorders, sharpens, and surfaces what is already true about your experience. It does not invent employers, titles, or numbers, and every change comes with a change log you can review before it goes anywhere.
